Allocating tips between pickup and delivery is essential for day to day operations. Read below to learn how this can be achieved using Toast Reporting.


Pulling Toast Report by Lunchbox Service Type

Warning: Incorrect filtering can lead to incorrect tip calculation. When running tip reports, It is very important to avoid having in-store dining option tips included with your Lunchbox tips to avoid over-tipping your staff.

Step 1: Begin by navigating to the Toast Admin Dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to Analytics and Reports > Sales Summary

Step 3: Click the More Tab & check off Dining Option

Step 4: Click the Dining Option Drop Down and select the dining option you are looking to filter for tips allocation. (Either Lunchbox Takeout or Lunchbox Delivery)

Step 5: Click Update and view the tips line as seen below.

Pulling Tips from Lunchbox for Comparison

Step 1: Navigate to your Lunchbox Admin Dashboard

Step 2: Navigate to the Reports Tab

Step 3: Select the Orders Report

Step 4: Select your location and matching date range

Step 5: Click View

Step 6: Filter the Report by Service Type and click Filter and compare to the tip total at the bottom of the report.
