Here is a checklist that will ensure the day of launch is successful

Launch Day: Order Aggregation and 3rd Party Pro Tip Checklist

Now that your restaurant is ready to launch with Order Aggregation, here is a checklist to help you ensure a successful launch day.

1. Turn On Your 3rd Party Merchant Account

Restaurants are responsible for logging into their merchant portals and setting the store to live for every platform. Here is how to activate each of your 3rd party merchant accounts:

2. Check each 3rd platform to see if the menu and prices are correct

3. Make sure the business hours are correct for each location

Please remember that each platform adds its buffer to ensure orders are prepared and/or delivered on time.

You can always adjust your prep time and lead time if needed.

4. Place a test order for each platform as if you were a customer

4.1. Add an Order Note Saying TEST ORDER DO NOT MAKE

4.2. Change the Guest Name to TEST ORDER DO NOT MAKE

4.3. If you are not physically at the restaurant on launch day, please let the restaurant know that test orders are coming in by calling the location to let them know NOT TO MAKE the test order

5. Make sure the order gets fired and prints in the correct station

6. Check if the order is visible on each 3rd party merchant portal

7. Make sure the order is visible on Lunchbox

8. Make sure the order is visible on POS

9. Cancel the Order in Lunchbox, Void the order in the POS, and cancel the order on the 3P Marketplace (Order Agg Only)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to cancel and void payment for all test orders you placed on each 3rd party, POS, and Lunchbox Old Admn or the New Admin

Placing Test Orders

  • On Grubhub, Tap "Orders" and select your current order.

  • Tap "Help," select "Cancel order," and select a reason for cancellation to chat with a live agent.

  • The agent may refund your order upon cancellation. If not, please call Grubhub at 877-585-7878 to ask for a refund.

10. Cancel any assigned Delivery Drivers

How do I cancel any assigned Delivery Drivers after placing a test order?

Doordash Drive

  • Go to the Active Orders page in the Drive Portal to cancel a driver.

  • If you can't access the Drive Portal, you can call DoorDash Drive support at 855-222-8111

Uber Driver
