Overriding the Toast Order # with the Lunchbox Order #
When enabled, this setting overrides the Toast Order # with the Lunchbox order #. Toast partners typically enable this setting to make finding orders and reporting/reconciling easier.
Step 1: Navigate to Old Admin by clicking the Menus Tab
Step 2: Click Edit POS Provider
Step 3: Click Toast
Step 4: Click Send Order Display Number
Step 5: Click Update POS Provider
In Toast reporting, you can see an example of orders sent from Lunchbox and placed in-store.
Orders with a higher number are placed through Lunchbox online ordering
This includes Web or App, Native Ordering, Catering or Curbside, and Order Aggregation. Lunchbox order numbers always count up and DO NOT reset.
Orders with a lower number starting with 1 are orders placed in-store, and using Lunchbox scan to pay and scan for loyalty
Toast order numbers start from 1 every day.
