Delivery
On the Delivery Tab, you can set your delivery zone and set delivery rules for each of your locations.
1. Navigate to the Delivery Tab and Select a Location
2. Delivery Map
After you select a location, you'll be able to see the location on the map. From here, you can create a delivery zone, test to see if an address falls inside of the zone, save and reset if you need to start over.
3. Delivery Rules
Delivery Rules show all created rules for this location.
From here you can edit or delete and/or existing rule or Add a New Rule
Add or Edit Delivery Rules
1. Add New Rule
Click on Add New Rule to create a new delivery rule.
2. Give the Delivery Rule a Name
3. Select the Distance Rules
Choose:
zone is: a drawn zone on the map not necessarily surrounding the location (not common)
address is in map: a delivery rule that applies to addresses in the drawn map
distance <=: this is a radius rule that will be defined by the distance diameter from the location in miles
4. For this example, we are using the Distance Rule
Enter the diameter distance in miles that this location will deliver to.
Distance Rules do not need a map drawn for the location.
5. Enter the Min Order Total Amount
This is typical in Service Types for non-delivery Service Types but is configured in the delivery rule for each location. This is how much a guest must spend before they can check out for a delivery order.
6. Enter the Delivery Charge Amount
This is where you can set a flat delivery, additional % and an additional Per Mile Dollar Amount. All fields must be entered, even if it is 0
When adding additional % this field will calculate the additional percentage amount off of the order total.
When adding an additional Per Mile ($) this amount will add to the previously configured fixed Delivery Charge. The additional Per Mile ($) will be added by the penny from the restaurant to the greatest distance that the delivery can be delivered.
When adding an additional Per Mile ($) this amount will add to the previously configured fixed Delivery Charge as well as the %. The additional Per Mile ($) will add the full fee for the first mile and every mile after that will be added by the penny from the restaurant to the greatest distance that the delivery can be delivered.
Example: Base Delivery fee $2 with a configured additional $5 Per Mile ($)
Quarter Mile will charge an additional $5 + $2 base delivery fee = $7
Half a Mile will charge an additional $5 + $2 base delivery fee = $7
1 Mile will charge an additional $5 + $2 base delivery fee = $7
1.5 Miles will charge and additional $7.50 + $2 base delivery fee = $9.50
7. Make Optional Selections & Save
You can choose to make a delivery rule for internal use only, which is great for Admins who need to transfer Held orders (like for catering delivery).
You can also select if this delivery rule is specific to a delivery service type (standard or catering).
Once you've reviewed your Rule Parameters in full, click Save.
8. New Delivery Rule Created
On the main Delivery page, you'll see your new Delivery Rule created.

Delivery Configuration Examples
Additional Dollar Amount Within a Distance From the Restaurant by Penny
If you want to charge an additional amount within a particular distance from the restaurant that adds per penny based on the distance this can be configured using the Else portion of a Single Delivery Rule and can be configured by percent or dollar amount.
Additional $ Amount Per Mile
If you want to charge an additional flat dollar amount within a distance from the restaurant this can be configured by adding multiple flat rate rules and using the if distance is less than Rule or if distance is in zone rule and incrementally increase the the delivery fee amount and the distance by whole miles.
WARNING: It is very important that when building rules that they are built in sequence from lowest charge to highest charge. When implementing this fee structure we recommend removing the previous rules and building from scratch.
Example:
Build the Rule 1st - Native Delivery (Up to 4 Miles) - set 4 miles & Delivery charge 5.99
Build the Rule 2nd - Native Delivery (4 to 5 Miles) - set 5 miles & Delivery charge 6.99
Build the Rule 3rd - Native Delivery (5 to 6 Miles) - set 6 miles & Delivery charge 7.99
