DoorDash Drive Limitations
Any of the following need to be updated by DoorDash Support or by your Doordash Rep.
Important: Restaurants that have negotiated their own rates and mileage should reach out to DoorDash Support to make sure the negotiated conditions have been applied to any new locations that are submitted to Lunchbox and that proper access has been granted to required emails on each Driver Merchant account.
Lunchbox does not have the ability to overwrite the SOF Small Order Fulfillment caps of $150. Orders over $150 sent through a non Large Order Fulfillment Contract may not be picked up.
Lunchbox does not have the ability to overwrite the LOF Large Order Fulfillment cap of $3000 subtotal. Orders over $3000 will not process without this update.
Lunchbox does not have the ability to overwrite the Tip cap of $120. Orders with a tip over $120 will not process without this update.
Lunchbox does not have the ability to update the name of your Doordash Drive Account.
Lunchbox does not have the ability to update user access into your Doordash Drive Account.
Important Note: Drive Accounts and Marketplace Accounts look different in the DoorDash Merchant Portal.
Once your account has been created be sure to reach out to DoorDash to ensure you and your restaurant managers or user that will login to the store for day to day management have been granted proper access.
Drive: is indicated with a circle that is not a full bubble. I would advise asking DoorDash Support to add the word drive to the name of the DoorDash Drive location to help better clarify.
Marketplace: will be a full green bubble when open
Both appear with a grey circle if the business isn't active.

Understanding Billing Before Signing Up
It's important to understand how billing works before signing up.
DoorDash Drive charges are not billed through Lunchbox. Instead, DoorDash will send you separate invoices. These invoices will include charges for the negotiated per-mile delivery rates as well as any customer tips.
If you choose to apply a Delivery Fee to help offset DoorDash's charges, that fee is collected by you, not DoorDash. The Delivery Fee goes directly to your business to help cover the cost of DoorDash’s delivery service.
DoorDash Drive External Business Name & Invoices
Before You Fill Out the Form found below: Understanding DoorDash Invoicing
Before submitting the form, it's important to understand how DoorDash Invoices work.
When you submit the form, an EBN (External Business Name) is assigned to the location(s) included in that form. Each EBN creates a single invoice, and all locations under that EBN are combined into one invoice from DoorDash.
Example A: One Invoice for Multiple Locations
Franchise A submits a form with 5 locations. A single EBN is created for all 5 locations.
➡️ All 5 locations will be billed together on a single invoice.
Later, if Franchise A wants to add another location to the same invoice:
A new form is not required.
Lunchbox can use the existing EBN.
A new Drive Dashboard will be created automatically when the first delivery order is placed.
Orders from the new location will be included in the existing invoice.
Example B: Separate Invoices for Each Location
Franchise B submits a form for just 1 location, and a single EBN is created. If they want each additional location to be billed separately, then:
➡️ A new form must be submitted for each location, and each will receive a unique EBN and its own invoice.
How to Sign Up for DoorDash Drive
The following steps are for partners that are using DoorDash Drive as their 3rd party delivery partner. They will need these steps to properly fill out the DoorDash Drive Setup Form. Once they fill out this form, we have what we need to integrate Lunchbox with DoorDash Drive for delivery.
Standard Orders = Small Order Fulfillment (SOF)
Catering Orders = Large Order Fulfillment (LOF)
DoorDash Drive Signup Process:
The following form should be used to sign up for DoorDash Drive if you have never used it before and if you are setting up a new location with its own unique invoice.
Important: Only fill out this form if you want the new location to receive its own store specific invoice. If the new location should fall under an existing EBN notify your Implementation Project Manager of which EBN you want this location to be connected to and the Lunchbox will set this up during onboarding.
Step 1: From an incognito browser click paste this into the URL
Warning: If attempting to access the link you receive this error that is likely due to caching. Make sure you are using an incognito browser for access.
Step 2: Login to your DoorDash merchant portal.
Step 3: This will take you to the Lunchbox Specific form.
Step 4: Fill out the following details.
Number of Stores to Onboard
Enter "1" if you want a single invoice per location.
or
Enter a number higher than 1 to match the number of locations that will be included in this forms invoice.
Store with separate invoices per location enter the Legal Business Name in the following format - LLC name - (Store Name)
Example: Sarahs Sweets LLC - Astoria
Stores with a single invoice enter in the Brand Name - LLC Name

Enter address of your corporation if the number of stores onboarding is higher than 1.

Enter local store address if the number of stores onboarding is 1.
Lunchbox strives to provide you with competitive rates. If your business has more competitive rates based on price or delivery radius communicate this with your Implementation Project Manager.
Step 5: You will receive a confirmation email with your acceptance record. Please download this and send a copy to your Lunchbox Onboarding Manager and share over the Business Name assigned to your account via your configuration workbook.
Step 6: Once the account has been created please grant Lunchbox access to your Doordash Merchant/Drive portal with the following login...

Once complete this setup can take up to five business days. Once configured we recommend that you contact drive merchant support to make sure that your users email address has been properly added to your drive account and that any mile or dollar contracted rates are properly applied.

Once completed notify your Implementation Project Manager that the user has been invited to the Doordash Merchant/Drive Portal.
ENTERPRISE MOVING TO LUNCHBOX USING DOORDASH DRIVE
If a restaurant partner is enterprise (100+ locations) and migrating away from another online ordering provider. If you are less than 100 locations speak to your Implementation Project Manager regarding migrating the existing EBNs.
All non-enterprise restaurant partners will need to fill out new forms. This creates a new Drive account in your Merchant Portal. Old Accounts will need to be deprecated and can be done by contacting DoorDash Driver Merchant Support.
NOTE: If you have a DoorDash Representative, reach out to them in order to setup the DoorDash Drive integration through Lunchbox and let them know that you will be integrating with Lunchbox as well during the migration and to keep the existing integration in place.

Q: What is the standard delivery radius for Doordash Drive?
A: It is around 3-5 miles, depending on location (NYC is less due to density).
Q: What value does Lunchbox set up for my integration?
A: Lunchbox uses the Business Name for this integration.
Q: For DoorDash Drive configuration, are we able to use a single External Business Name for multiple locations?
A: We can use a single External Business Name for multiple locations, but if the location wants to get invoiced individually, they will need to have a singular EBN per location.
