Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the Command Center used for?
A: The Command Center helps restaurant support teams place orders, manage customer profiles, send quotes, and track order history, often used for catering and bulk orders that need hands-on assistance.
Q: What improvements were made to customer lookup?
A: Set of improvements was introduced in July 2025:The customer list now defaults to a LIFO view (most recent users at the top).
Support can search by any field (name, email, phone, company) with partial match support
Filters and sorting are more flexible, with visible filter indicators and options like sort by email, username, or date created.
Q: Can I start an order directly from the Customer Lookup page?
A: Yes. Once a customer is selected, agents can immediately begin an order. Saved addresses and the last used location appear first. There's also an option to add a new address with optional manual entry
Q: Is there a faster way to start pickup orders?
A: Yes. A "Looking for pickup? Start here" shortcut bypasses address selection. The service type is locked to Pickup or Catering Pickup, and support can search for restaurants by ZIP, city, or state.

Q: Has the checkout or payment process changed?
A: No. Checkout continues to direct to the existing payment flow in LB 2.0. Partial payments are not available unless enabled in Admin.
Q: Can orders be edited after placement?
A: Yes, but only within a 60-minute lead time. A disclaimer appears on the success page. Edits can be made without losing the current cart, and quantity updates use the same +/β interface.
Q: If a customer has already paid for a quoted order but the order is later edited and a new quote is sent, does the initial payment still apply?
A: Yes. The initial payment remains valid, and any additional charges from the updated quote will be added for the customer to pay.
