Overview
Managing menu hours across multiple locations can be challenging, particularly when deploying a new menu or implementing temporary or seasonal changes.
The Bulk Menu Hours feature simplifies this process by allowing clients to simultaneously update operating hours, menus, and override hours across multiple locations, eliminating the need for manual updates at each location. This feature is an upgraded version of the Override hours, and it allows clients to set the new hours to all, or some of their locations, and assign the new menu for the defined schedule.

Bulk Menu and Override Hours Creation
The precondition for using this feature is to create a new menu beforehand so that you can assign it to the desired location(s) when creating the new Override Hours.
Create Override Hours
Open the Admin dashboard of a chain requesting Push Menu Hours config.
Select a location (if it's not preselected for you, according to your role in your organization)
Select Operate> Business Hours > Override Hours
Select Set Global Override Hours
The pop-up window will appear and then
Select the menu for the new hours
Choose the start and the end date
Choose the start and end hours
Select location(s) to apply Override Hours
Select Save
Confirm "Are you sure you want to overwrite any local settings for this menu's hours at the locations you have selected? This action is not reversible."
Select Publish button
IMPORTANT NOTE: After publishing new override hours, the log entry is created with the user’s information and timestamp.
Delete Override hours
Open the Admin dashboard of a chain requesting Push Menu Hours config
Select Operate> Business Hours > Override Hours
Find the hours you want to delete
Select the three dots on the right-hand side
Select Delete button
In the modal "Are you sure to delete?" select Yes button to confirm the deletion

Q: What if a client creates two Override hour rules valid at the same time at the same selected locations?
A: The most recent Override will take precedence. Advise clients to remove unnecessary, stale rules.
Q: Can more than one Override hour be active at the same time for the same hours and the same locations?
A: No, only one instance of an override hour can be enabled for a specific time
Q: Can the created Override Hours be edited?
A: We are sticking with our current functionality. Only deletion is allowed, no editing
Q: Can the created Override Hours be deleted?
A: We are sticking with our current functionality. Only deletion is allowed, no editing
Q: Will the created hours be stacked or separated for each day?
A: No changes to current functionality; created rules separated by each day
Q: What does it mean "It will not necessarily make the menu available at that location" in the text description if one of the goals of this feature is to make the menu available?
A: If the menu is not targeted to be available on the service type. Then the Override hours will not enable the menu.
