Custom Tipping

minute read

Overview

The Custom Tipping feature allows guests to not only select default gratuity percentages (e.g., 5%, 10%, 20%) but also allows for a custom, exact amount to be provided when tipping.

During the process of providing payment information, the tip can be determined prior to purchase for the guest.

NOTE: The Custom Tipping feature is currently available for Web ordering (and will be fully functional on iOS and Android soon).

Step 3: The saved custom tip will appear in the Tip (Custom) line, as well as be reflected in the place where the Custom button appeared prior; the accurate percentage and input amount will appear here also.

Step 4: At any time, you can select one of the preset gratuity percentages (selected 20% in the example), which will update in the Tip line, and the right-most option will return to read Custom.
