Summary

The Catering Calendar feature gives restaurant operators an easy-to-understand view of their orders across the week and months ahead. These views facilitate resource planning and help balance the load across resources at multiple restaurant locations. This feature applies to all service types but is especially important for catering operations.

Feature Walkthrough

The Catering Calendar displays orders in a weekly calendar layout. This feature allows restaurant operators to see the workload for the week in an easy-to-understand format. This feature is important for managing catering orders as restaurant operators must easily understand their workload and plan accordingly.

From the Admin Dashboard, click Operate > Orders to open the Orders view. Next to the filters, there is a toggle switching between List view and Calendar view. Click calendar view.

The Calendar view will default to all orders for the current week.

Filters can be applied to allow multiple Locations, Statuses, and Service Types.

Future and past weeks can be viewed by selecting the Date filter.

Quick actions can be selected for each order by clicking the ellipsis menu at the top-right of the order card.

The options available will depend on the current order status. See the following table for available options.

Click the refresh icon to show the most up-to-date view of your orders.

To expand the calendar view, click the fullscreen icon at the right of the Calendar view. Click the fullscreen icon again to restore the view.

Click Reset Filters to remove current filters and return to all orders for the current week.
