Lunchbox Loyalty

Lunchbox Loyalty allows you to manage your loyalty programs powered by Lunchbox in the Admin Dashboard


Managing Loyalty

1. From the "Jump to Admin" Dashboard, navigate to Operate and click on Loyalty

Loyalty Rewards

1. Discount Configuration

From the Rewards Tab click on Discount Configuration, then Add Open Discount

2. Configure Open Discount Details and Save

  • Name*: Enter a Name for your Open Discount. Example: Loyalty Credit Open Discount

  • Discount Partner*: Select a Discount Partner (Promotion Partner) from the dropdown options. Example: LB2 or Novadine

  • Description*: Description or Disclaimer to be communicated with the discount on the customer's order.

  • External ID*: Enter an External ID - This value should be the word found in the Coupon that was created to make the coupon in the CLU field minus the word “:redeemable:”

3. Loyalty Rewards

From the Rewards Tab after you've Configured an Open Discount, navigate to Loyalty Rewards and click on Create.

4. Configure Coupon Code Reward Type & Save

  • Reward Name*: Enter a Reward Name for internal use. Example: Free Coffee

  • Reward Description*: Enter Description Example: Here’s a free coffee on us

  • Discount Partner*: Enter Novadine as Discount Partner

  • Coupon Code*: Enter a pre-created coupon code (Coupon CLU)

  • Image URL*: Enter Image URL (Optional)

  • Reward Expiration*: How many days the Reward will be available

5. Configure Loyalty Credit Reward Type & Save

  • Reward Name*: Enter a Reward Name for internal use. Example: $5 Loyalty Credit

  • Reward Description*: Enter Description Example: $5 dollar off reward credit for orders

  • Discount Partner*: Enter Novadine as Discount Partner

  • Amount*: Enter a numerical Amount to be rewarded. Example: 6

  • Reward Name*: Enter a Reward Name for internal use. Example: 50 Loyalty Points

  • Reward Description*: Enter Description Example: Earn 50 points on orders

  • Discount Partner*: Enter Novadine as Discount Partner

  • Point Amount*: Enter a numerical Amount to be rewarded. Example: 50

Loyalty Tiers

1. Tier Configuration

Navigate to the Tiers Tab to view, edit and create Tiers for your Loyalty Program.

For this example, click on Create.

2. Configure Tier & Save

  • Tier Name*: Enter a Tier Name for external guests. Example: Foxtail Rewards Program

  • Tier Description*: Enter a Tier Description for external guests. Example: Earn 10 points for every dollar you spend. Get $5 for every 500 points you earn.

  • Lifetime Points Required*: Enter a numerical value for the Points Required in your Spend Tier. Example: 500

  • Tier Point Name*: Select a name for your points to appear to customers. Example: Points

  • Points Converter*: Enter a Point Conversion scale for your program. Example $1 is equal to 10 points

  • Status: Toggle the Tier to active to make it available to customers

Note: The Program Name and description will appear here in the Ordering UI.

Loyalty Perks

Loyalty Perks are Rewards that the Customer can build up to earn and redeem as Rewards.

Perks = Reward that may not be available until perk requirements are met

Reward = Reward that is earn after perk requirements are met

1. Perk Configuration

Navigate to the Perks Tab to view, edit and create Perks for your Loyalty Program.

For this example, click on Create.

2. Configure Perk & Save

  • Perk Name*: Name of the Perk that should be similar to the Reward Name

  • Perk Description*: Name of the Perk that should be similar to the Reward Name

  • Perk Type*: Name of the Perk that should be similar to the Reward Name

    • Birthday Perks: Awarding users on their birthday - Recurring Every year.

    • Sign Up: Awarding users when they sign up - Not Recurring

    • Conversion: A continuous perk for when a user meets a set of conditions, they are rewarded. This occurs as long as the perk is still active.

    • Tier Reached One-Off: We award users when they reach a tier—not Recurring. Once they reach the target tier, they will be awarded, and that’s it.

  • Perk Reward*: Select the Reward that has been created to attach to this perk when the requirements are met

  • Perk Requirements Tier: Select the Tier needed to meet to release the Reward

  • Perk Requirements Other: Select Point Balanace, Credit Balance, or Order Amount for this Perk to release the Reward

  • Status: Toggle the Tier to active to make it available to customers

Migrations

Used to import customers and their loyalty information so no information is launched before launching Loyalty Programs with Lunchbox

1. Migration Upload

Navigate to the Migrations Tab to view and upload CSV files of your previous Loyalty Provider's Customer information.

For specific details on how to import customers, using the Loyalty Migration Tool, please read the Customer Loyalty Migration article.

Guests

1. Guest Loyalty Management

Navigate to the Guests Tab to view and edit Guests in your Loyalty Program.

You're able to filter and search by First Name, Last Name, Email or Phone Number.

In this example, we'll search for the guest using the Last Name

2. After you Apply Filters, click on the 3 dots and click on Edit for the customer selected

4. Award or Remove a Reward

Under Available Rewards, you can award or remove Rewards from the Customer.

  • Use the Dropdown to Award Rewards

  • Click x on any visible rewards to Remove Rewards

5. Adjust Loyalty

Use Adjust Loyalty to add or remove points and credits (dollars) from the Customer.

  • Select Points or Credits

  • Select to Award or Remove

  • Select Amount

  • Toggle whether to only apply adjustment to lifetime points

  • Click Apply Adjustment to Save

Note: This is the most common action an Admin may perform once they've launched their loyalty program and it's great for crediting customers for any miscues with previous order experiences.

6. See History

Use See History to view all Actions that have automatically or manually occurred for this Customer
