Why Build It?
Currently, Scan-to-Pay or Scan-for-Loyalty features through Lunchbox apps are not supported on Brink. With the In-Store Accrual through Receipt Entry feature, Restaurant Partners on Brink are able to offer a method for guests to accrue loyalty points for in-store orders.
Limitations
Accrual Only: This feature only enables accrual of loyalty points for in-store orders. Lunchbox currently does not support in-store redemption of loyalty awards on Brink.
Platform: This feature is available on iOS and Android apps only. It is not supported on web.
Usage Limit: Each guest can submit no more than 2 receipts per day, 2 receipts per week, and 4 receipts per month
Guest Experience
On the iOS or Android app, click on the “Account” button
Click on “Points for Receipt” Button
Click on “Start” Button
In the Zip Code section, enter the zip code printed on the receipt.
Then, in the bottom section of the screen, click on the location of the in-store order.
On the next screen, click on the date field and enter the date of the in-store order. Then click on the “Next” button.
Enter the Payment ID. Then click on the “Next” button.
Enter the total amount charged to the payment method.
Click on the “Submit” button.
