Introduction

Why Build It?

The In-Store Loyalty Look-Up feature allows Restaurant Partners on Toast to add a guest’s Lunchbox Loyalty account to an in-store order for accrual of points or redemption of awards. This allows guests without a Lunchbox app to use their Lunchbox Loyalty accounts for an in-store transaction, leading to higher guest satisfaction and engagement.

Restaurant Experience

Add Loyalty Account for Point Accrual

  • On the payments screen on the POS, tap on the “Rewards” button on the top bar

  • On the “Apply Rewards Card” pop-up screen, click on “Lookup”

  • Here, the restaurant staff can look up the guest’s loyalty account by their phone number, name, or email address

Redeem Loyalty Awards

  • On the payments screen on the POS, tap on the “Rewards” button on the top bar

  • On the “Apply Rewards Card” pop-up screen, click on “Lookup”

  • Here, the restaurant staff can look up the guest’s loyalty account by their phone number, name, or email address

  • Once the staff has located the account, if the guest has enough points to redeem for an award, they will see the option to do so. Select “Redeem” to redeem the listed reward for the guest.
