Disclaimer: This article is for Lunchbox 2 Enterprise customers only. If your dashboard header looks the same as below, you are in the right place:

A restaurant can choose to assign service fees per dining option should they wish to help cover the cost of costly delivery fees, PPE, or expensive paper products.

Creating a Delivery Service Fee

Step 1: Go to Revel Dashboard > Products > Service Fees and click Add Service Fee.

Step 2: Set the options as follows -

Step a: Name: Lunchbox Delivery/Service Fee

Step b: Amount (Percent or $)

Step c: Type (Amount or Percent)

Step d: Apply to: Subtotal

Step 3: Click Save, then click the pencil icon on your new fee

Step 4: Go to “Service Fee Auto Apply” and input the valid dining options and save - dining options would be Online Ordering for pickup, or Other for delivery.

Creating Additional Item As A Service Charges

Step 1: In the Revel Dashboard, go to the Products tab.

Step 2: Next click the Products tab on the left-hand side.

Step 3: Click the + sign next to the Menu you are using for Online Ordering.

Step 4: Click the + sign next to the subcategory named Packing Instructions, Additional Service Charges & Open Item.

Note: If this subcategory doesn’t exist yet create one.

Step 5: Click +Product and create an item called Dine In Service Charge & or Takeout Service Charge add the amount you want to charge to the Price field.

Step 6: Hit Save. Repeat for any additional service charges.

Step 7: Push Changes once all changes have been finalized.
