Disclaimer: This article is for Lunchbox 2.0 customers only. If your dashboard header looks the same as below, you are in the right place:


The Restaurant Partner must activate the Toast Integration using the Toast Integrations portal on their Toast Dashboard. Without API access Lunchbox cannot begin the onboarding process for the partner.

Note: This is for new brands onboarding onto Enterprise. For Lunchbox 1.0 onboarding, we are maintaining the process found Here until everyone is migrated to Enterprise.

Loyalty Config Request Guidelines

  • Timeline: If you have a customer that needs their loyalty re-configured to Lunchbox at a specific date/time, please ensure that you submit the API Email request in STEP 7 to the Integrations Support team <[email protected]> at least 3 business days ahead of that date/time. Note that configuration changes can only be done Monday-Friday between 9am-7pm ET by Integrations Support.

  • Subject Line: To help the Integrations Support team easily recognize these types of requests from Lunchbox, please use a subject line that includes keywords: "Loyalty Enablement Scheduling Request"

  • Information to Include: GUID(s), location name(s), and address(es) of the location(s) needing to be configured. Additionally, please specify the time zone when requesting the date/time for re-config.


Step 1: Begin by logging into the Toast Dashboard. Then Scroll down to and click the My Integrations link in the Toast dashboard.

Step 2: Click the Add More Integrations button

Note: Restaurant Partners who are moving from Lunchbox 1.0 to Lunchbox 2.0 will see the v1 integration already listed. The initial integration should stay in place during the transition.

Step 3: Search Lunchbox and click Add Now

Note: This is the Lunchbox V2 integration once added it will display as Lunchbox. (This is technically the Lunchbox V2 integration.)

Step 4: Next using the Select Locations dropdown check off the Locations that you would like to add and click Apply.

Step 5: The screen will now show the list of selected locations. Click Confirm to get set up!

Note: Once the integration has been added it will appear in the list on the My Integrations screen.

Step 6: Once the Restaurant’s request has been granted, an email will be sent from Toast to [email protected]. The email will look like this and contains the location’s GUID.

Note: If you are not using Lunchbox Loyalty or Scan to Pay you can stop here. Otherwise proceed to the next portion of documentation. DO NOT SEND THE EMAIL IF YOU ARE NOT USING LUNCHBOX LOYALTY OR SCAN TO PAY THIS COULD CAUSE OTHER INTEGRATION ISSUES IF THESE ARE ACCIDENTALLY ENABLED.

Step 7: Next the restaurant partner must edit and send the following email to Toast Support to grant API access to the Loyalty API and Tender API.

Note: A restaurant partner’s Delivery Manager will send them the email template below to ensure we have proper API access.


FOR TOAST SCAN TO PAY & LUNCHBOX LOYALTY

To grant Lunchbox access to the Tender & Loyalty API, please send an email to the API team at Toast using this template:

Notes:

  • This template should be customized for the specific restaurant group.

  • Please CC the Client Success Manager (CSM) & Delivery Manager on the email.

  • This step must be completed within one day of project kick-off. If your location is delayed immediately reach out to your Delivery Manager to request access.
