1a - Request API Access (Brink)
Updated over a week ago

Disclaimer: This article is for Lunchbox 2.0 customers only. If your dashboard header looks the same as below, you are in the right place:

Note: Restaurants moving from LB 1.0 to LB 2.0 DO NOT have to request API access. This step is for new restaurant partners only.

For new partners, the Restaurant Partner must reach out to Brink to request that Lunchbox be granted API access to their locations prior to onboarding. Without API access Lunchbox cannot begin the onboarding process for the partner.

Step 1: The Restaurant Partner must Email Brink requesting Lunchbox API Access - The following is the Brink API Access Email Template that should be sent.

Note: A restaurant partner’s Delivery Manager will send them the email template below to ensure we have proper API access.

To grant Lunchbox access to your POS, please send an email to the API team at Brink using this template:

To: [email protected], [email protected] & [email protected]
CC: {your CSM / Delivery Manager}

--

Subject: NovaDine/Lunchbox API Access

--

Body:

Hello,

I [Name of authorized user], authorize NovaDine/Lunchbox to access all POS data and receive the API Tokens for [Concept] for the following locations:” Then list all of your locations that NovaDine/Lunchbox will need access to, including any labs.

Notes:

  • This template should be customized for the specific restaurant group.

  • Please CC the Client Success Manager (CSM) & Delivery Manager on the email.

  • This step must be completed within one day of project kick-off. If your location is delayed immediately reach out to your Delivery Manager to request access.

Step 2: Once the Restaurant’s request has been granted, an email will be sent from Brink Software to [email protected]. The email will look like this.

Note: Server API’s will vary brand by brand.
