Requesting API Access Via Email

After the Restaurant Partner has filled out their ACH Paperwork. They must next reach out to Revel to request that Lunchbox be granted API access to their locations before onboarding. Without API access Lunchbox cannot begin the onboarding process for the partner.

Step 1: The Restaurant Partner must send Revel an email requesting that Lunchbox be granted API access to their locations. Revel will only accept API access requests from a restaurant.

Note: A restaurant partner’s Delivery Manager will send them the email template below to ensure we have proper API access.


To grant Lunchbox access to your POS, please send an email to the API team at Toast using this template:

Hello,

We give permission for Lunchbox to access our Revel information related to off-premise ordering. We will be onboarding to Lunchbox. In addition, to keep our online order system's menu in sync with our POS menu, we need to provide NovaDine/Lunchbox with API access for Revel.

For that reason, we would like to receive access to all credentials which would make accessing our restaurant data possible for Lunchbox, including the following:

Location Operating hours
Location Information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
Menu information
Menu, sections, items, and modifiers.
Order and Discount information

This request will grant the Lunchbox team API access to all our locations on Revel for Production.

IMPORTANT***** We also need you to please disable price validation and allow our integration to override product price using the Weborder API, when submitting orders.

Notes:

  • This template should be customized for the specific restaurant group.

  • Please CC the Client Success Manager (CSM) & Delivery Manager on the email.

  • This step must be completed within one day of project kick-off. If your location is delayed immediately reach out to your Delivery Manager to request access.


Step 2: Once the Restaurant’s request has been granted, an email will be sent from Revel to [email protected]. The email will look like this.
