Analytics: 1st Party vs 3rd Party


Overview

This report was developed to show a breakdown of orders and sales for 1st Party vs 3rd Party orders. It is broken up into 3 sections:

  1. 1st Party vs 3rd Party Total Orders, Sales & Avg Ticket

  2. 1st Party vs 3rd Party (Order Count)

  3. 1st Party vs 3rd Party (Sales Total)

This report labels orders including DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates. EZCater, Grubhub, Waitr & Franklin Junction as 3rd Party. Orders from Web Online, Web Online Mobile, In-Store, Call Center & Mobile Apps are classified as 1st party.

This report can be filtered by date and location to view the 1st Party vs 3rd Party data.

How are Sales calculated?

1st Party Order: The sum of orders placed using Lunchbox-powered 1st party ordering sites based on the filters selected.

1st Party Sales: The Subtotal sum of orders placed using Lunchbox-powered 1st party ordering sites based on the filters selected

1st Party Average Ticket: 1st Party Sales / 1st Party Orders

3rd Party Order: The sum of orders placed using 3rd Party Marketplaces (Doordash, Grubhub & UberEats) based on the filters selected

3rd Party Sales: The Subtotal sum of orders placed using 3rd Party Marketplaces (Doordash, Grubhub & UberEats) based on the filters selected

3rd Party Average Ticket: 3rd Party Sales / 3rd Party Orders
