Overview
Add dynamic menus at the top of your location menu page.
*denotes required field
Show Popular Items
This setting will show popular items on menu page. All you need to do is to add chef's choice class to your items. Use this featured category not only for Popular Items, but Seasonal Specials, Limited Time Offerings & New or Featured Items.
Main Header *
Main Header is a brief and concise title of the Dynamic Menu category and is displayed at the top of the Dynamic Menu category on each location where chefs_choice items are enabled.
Prompt *
Prompt is a longer description of the Dynamic Menu category and is displayed underneath the Main Header on each location where chefs_choice items are enabled.
Note: if Header or Prompt * extends past 1 line of text, text will wrap to 2 lines
Limitations
Only available on Web and Mobile Web (Catering included)
Max of 1 Dynamic Category and 9 Dynamic Menu Items.
Enabling Dynamic Menu on Admin
Click on Web
Click on Dynamic Menu
Toggle on Show Popular Items
Input Main Header
Input Prompt
Click on Save
Selecting “Chef’s Choice” Menu Items
Click on Menus
Expand the Menu that includes the Category the Item is located
Select the Item you would like added to "Popular Items"
Click on Item Classes
Click on the "Plus" button next to "chef_choice"
Click Save to Update
View updated Popular Items on the order site
View the Added Item
It may be on the second or third screen depending on how the menu is sorted
