This portion of the walkthrough will teach you how to set up a Mode on LB Enterprise.

What is a Mode?

Modes are used to create unique versions of a menu that allow you to assign different pricing, overrides, external IDs, and availability to items at a specific number of stores


How Modes Are Used

Chains can utilize mode setups to specify varying menu structures in LB Enterprise Dashboard for a Single Menu. (Example: West Coast vs East Coast Menu Pricing)


Create A Mode

Step 1: From the Menus tab in the LB Enterprise Dashboard select Switch to Mode Editor

Step 2: Scroll down and click Create a New Mode

Step 3: Fill in the information below and click Create

  • ID (enter an ID # to identify the mode or leave blank to Auto Number)

  • Name (name of the mode)

  • Nutrition (optional)


Assigning a Mode To a Menu

Step 1: From the Menus tab find and click on the Name of the menu where you want to add the Mode.

Step 2: Scroll down to Available only in the select Modes and check the mode that you just created.

Step 3: Click Save
