Store marker on the mobile app

Before attempting to upload the new store marker (icon), we need to ensure the dimensions are 28x28 px and the file is no larger than 2 MB. This new store marker icon will be visible only on the locations map in the mobile apps.

To set the store marker, we must be logged into the client's Admin dashboard and:

Step 1: Select Design> Mobile Apps from the left sidebar

Step 2: Find the Store Marker option

Step 3: Drag and drop or upload the store marker icon. The icon must be 28X28 px and up to 2MB

Step 4: Select the Save button to store the new icon

After saving, ensure you open the mobile app (both iOS and Android) to see the changes. Setting up a new store marker doesn't require a new app build.

If an icon appears broken, doesn't appear, or still shows the old store marker icon, please create a ticket and report to the ENG team.

Offline Store Marker

When a location is temporarily offline and doesn't accept ASAP orders, we can choose to show it on a map and use a different pin design for it. Using different icons for open and live locations vs. temporarily closed locations helps guests find the right location for their order.

To set up the offline store marker, we need to upload or drag and drop the new icon into the designated field and select the Save button. We don't need a new app build to see the changes.

You can see two different icons used for open and closed stores
