In order to create alerts for customer.io that notify a restaurant if a large order is placed you will need to follow the instructions below.
These instructions will allow you to set the dollar amount threshold for the alert and also have the ability to have alerts specific to each location.
NOTE: Only 1 email can be sent per location. If you need to send the email to a corporate catering contact and the location then we recommend building a distribution email that houses both the corporate email and the location email.

Creating Your Large Order Alert Campaign
Step 1: Go to customer.io and log into your account.
Step 2: Select Campaigns on the left-hand navigation bar
Step 3: Click Create Campaign on the top right-hand of the dashboard.
Step 4: Rename the Campaign Large Order Alert and click Save Changes
Step 5: Next from the dashboard click Choose trigger
Step 6: Click Event
Step 7: Select Order Completed from the drop-down.
Step 8: Click the Add event data filter button
Step 9: In the event attribute, select subtotal
Step 10: Then select is greater than
Step 11: Then add the value you want the alert to be set to. In this example, we are using $200. This field does not require a decimal, so simply enter 200.
Step 12: Click Save and build workflow.
Step 13: Once added the screen will look like this.
Step 14: From the Build section drag and drop the multi-split branch to the workspace "Drag your first block here"
Step 15: Next click the new block that says no condition selected and in the data type click Event Attribute
Step 16: Next under For event Order Completed click Affiliation
Step 17: In the First Paths section leave is equal to and choose your first location.
Step 18: Click Add to add each location this will need to be done for all stores that need to receive an alert.
Step 19: Click Save.
Step 20: Click Add to add each location this will need to be done for all stores that need to receive an alert.
NOTE: All others will always be visible.
Step 21: Once complete you will next go to the build section and drag and drop Email to the dashboard for the first applicable location.
Step 22: Next click the new Email block and click Add Content
Step 23: Click and Drag and Drop
Step 24: This takes you to the builder screen.
Step 25: From Content drag a Text Block.
Step 26: Next you will need to create the email body. We recommend using the following format in the recently added text block.

Step 27: Now Update the Subject Line: with the following text Large Order Alert For {{ event.affiliation }}
Step 28: Now Update the TO email field by clicking "Customize" on the right side:
Step 29: Add the location email to this section and click Save
Step 30: Once saved you will return to this screen.
Step 31: Now the email that has been created and you are ready to start sending it. Click the email.
Step 32: Then click the Settings option
Step 33: Next under sending behavior click the drop down and select Send Automatically.
Step 34: Next click Save.
Step 35: Now we have to copy the email to all affected locations. Click the email box then click Copy.
Step 36: Then click the plus where the email goes.
Step 37: Once copied the screen will look like this.
Step 38: Next click the new email box and click Edit Content
Step 39: Next Update the To Email to the new locations email by clicking the from to subject bar
Step 40: Once clicked the field can be freely edited. Update the To email address to the new location and click Save to Finalize changes.
Step 41: Click Workflow
Step 42: Repeat this for all locations. If you do not have more than 25 stores you can skip to step 55.
Note: If doing this for more than 25 stores an additional branch is required by dragging from the Build Window another Mult Split Branch to the All Others section.
Step 43: Next click the new block that says no condition selected and in the data type click Event Attribute
Step 44: Next under For event Order Completed click Affiliation
Step 45: In the First Paths section leave is equal to and choose your first location.
Step 46: Click Add to add each location this will need to be done for all stores that need to receive an alert.
Step 47: Click Save.
Step 48: Now we have to copy the email to all affected locations. Click the email box then click Copy.
Step 49: Then click the plus where the email goes.
Step 50: Once copied the screen will look like this.
Step 51: Next click the new email box and click Edit Content
Step 52: Next Update the To Email to the new locations email by clicking the from to subject bar
Step 53: Once clicked the field can be freely edited. Update the To email address to the new location and click Save to Finalize changes.
Step 54: Click Workflow
Step 55: Once all locations are added next click the text Next to the word once at the top left.
Step 56: Click Set goal
Step 57: Next click No goal and Save changes
Step 58: Next click the Start Campaign Button.
