Overview

The Finance manager offers a snapshot of the restaurant's financials from off-premise platforms. Here we can see a breakdown of order values, platform commissions, deductions, taxes, and net payouts and also get insight into earnings and expenses.

The Finance Manager breakdown includes a comparison with the previous period of the same duration, highlighting both the monetary values and percentage changes.

This section has a unique feature the Alternative Date Range Selector that allows clients to have the overview based on the custom period, or weekly time frames or select specific payout dates for precise financial data.

Order Value

The order value represents the total revenue generated from customers' orders across all platforms. It displays a percentage and monetary comparison with the previous period of equivalent length and shows the number of orders and customers for the previous period.

Platform commission

The platform commission shows fees charged by ordering platforms like DoorDash, ezCater, UberEats, and Grubhub for facilitating received orders. In the graphical display, the client can learn which 3PD takes a larger cut and then optimize the distribution strategy.

Merchant Deductions

The Merchant Deductions represent additional costs or deductions apart from platform commissions. In the section below, clients can see the graphical display of these deductions under the Deductions breakdown.

Taxes

The amount shown in the Taxes field is the amount set aside for local and federal taxes from the order revenues.

Net Payout

This is the final amount payable to the restaurant after accounting for commissions, deductions, and taxes from off-premise platforms. Additionally, Net Payout has a visual representation in the section below and this chart helps clients understand the profitability of each platform and the overall financial health of the restaurant brand.

Operations Deductions

Operational costs are expenses accrued for every store location in their day-to-day operation, including food costs, packaging, wastage, manpower, etc. In the section below, clients can see the graphical display of these costs under Operation Costs.
