Q: Can customers customize their own E-Card designs for both physical and digital cards?
A: Not at this time. Customization is planned for a future version.
Q: How do customers print their e-gift designs? Will a site be linked from our web or app?
A: Printing is handled entirely through an online portal provided by E-Card Systems.
Q: Will Lunchbox Support handle issues related to printing if we white-label the solution?
A: No. E-Card Systems will handle tier 1 support.
Q: Are gift card funds stored in customer accounts or in an escrow account managed by E-Card Systems?
A: Funds are held in the restaurant’s own account. If transfers or reconciliation are needed between locations, the restaurant must complete those steps manually.
Q: Can customers earn loyalty points on E-Card purchases made on web or app?
A: No. Purchasing a gift card does not earn loyalty points.
Q: Can discounts be applied to E-Card purchases on web or app?
A: Not currently.
Q: If a customer requests a refund for an E-Card purchase, who handles it?
A: Both the restaurant and Lunchbox can process the refund.
Q: What is the redemption priority when a customer pays with a Lunchbox Gift Card?
A: First, loyalty credits are applied. Second, the guest can choose which coupons or discounts to apply. Third, the guest selects a form of payment such as a gift card or credit card.
Q: What happens if a Lunchbox preload or gift card balance runs out and there is still an amount due?
A: Once the gift card is fully depleted, the remaining balance is charged to the credit card on file.

A: Not currently. Lunchbox does not support automatic bonus value on gift card purchases. Loyalty credit can be used to reward guests, but it does not function the same as adding bonus dollars to a gift card balance.
