(LB 1.0) Publish Configuration on Toast
Updated over a week ago

Publish Configuration

This function is very important to successful menu and location syncs. When a change is made in toast, make sure it is published to all locations that are affected and then synced to the lunchbox dashboard only after a successful publish has been completed.

NOTE: If you don’t this can cause failed menu syncs on the Lunchbox dashboard.

Step 1: To publish changes, navigate back to the Toast Admin Dashboard, locate Manager, and click Publish Config:

Step 2: Make sure to target the entire restaurant group when you are publishing. (In this example, by selecting EVOS Group you are targeting the entire company, not just one individual restaurant.)

NOTE: Make sure you click update AFTER choosing the entire restaurant group.

Step 3: Once you are done with the update, click Publish Selected Restaurants:

NOTE: When the Publish Selected Restaurants button is clicked it is important to make sure that the publish went through (this can be tricky to see because the button will temporarily go grey). Using that button may take longer depending on the number of changes that were made. Refresh your browser and make sure all locations have a grey checkmark and the word publish at the end of the row.
