Overview
Since its founding, Lunchbox has continuously added new functionalities to the Admin Dashboard to help our Restuarant Partners more easily manage their online ordering operations and grow their GMV. As our feature set has grown, new features were added to the menu bar on the left side of the Admin Dashboard without structure or organization, making it cumbersome and confusing to navigate.
As Lunchbox explores adding additional features in the near future, we are introducing the New Admin Dashboard with a more intuitive navigation structure that groups related features as well as a new, modern design language.
Please note that the previous version of the Admin Dashboard will be referred to as the Classic Admin Dashboard.
What Is Happening to the Classic Admin Dashboard?
Given the critical role that the Admin Dashboard plays in managing online ordering operations, there will be a transition period where Restaurant Partners will still be able to access the Classic Admin Dashboard.
After the initial release of the New Admin Dashboard, we will continuously gather feedback from our Restaurant Partners to ensure that they are comfortable with the new Admin experience before determining when the Classic Admin Dashboard will be deprecated.
When the end date for the transition period is determined, an announcement will be shared with our Restaurant Partners.
What Are the Benefits of the New Admin Dashboard?
1. More Intuitive Navigation Structure
The New Admin Dashboard introduces a new, more intuitive navigation structure that groups related pages and features into separate sections. Restaurant staff will be able to complete most workflows for their roles within each section.
There are four main sections: Operate, Engage, Analyze, and Settings. Below are descriptions of each section as well as examples of features included in each. For comprehensive information on where specific feature pages are located, please refer to the How Classic Admin Dashboard Pages Map to the New Admin Dashboard section of this page

2. New Modern Design Language
With the New Admin Dashboard, Lunchbox is introducing a new, modern design language that makes it easier to discern information on each page and improves the overall navigation experience.
3. New Guest Engagement & Reporting Features
In order to prevent the menu bar in the Classic Admin Dashboard from getting even longer, the following guest engagement and reporting features are only available on the New Admin Dashboard. For more information about each feature, please refer to the linked Help Center articles.

Restaurant Experience
Accessing the Redesigned Admin Dashboard
On the Classic Admin Dashboard, click on “the New Admin” button on the right-hand side of the page
From the drawer on the right-hand side, click on the “Switch to New Admin” button
Alternatively, the following buttons will take you directly to a relevant page within the New Admin Dashboard
Create an Audience brings you to Engage > Audience
View Custom Reports brings you to Analyze > Reports
Explore Your Data brings you to Analyze > Dashboards
Accessing the Classic Admin Dashboard
You will have the option to revert to the Classic Admin Dashboard by clicking on the “Go back to Classic Admin” button in the left-hand-side menu bar
If the left-hand-side menu bar is hidden, click on the menu bar button to open it again
