Configuring & Displaying Category Icons
In this article, we'll discuss how to add and display Category Icons/Images next to your Menu Categories if you are utilizing "On Side" Menu Category Placement on Lunchbox 2.0 Web.
Category Icon Image Specs
Please make sure that your Category Icon Image Specs
File Format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF
File Size: up to 2MB
Dimensions: 100X100
Adding Icon Images to Categories
NOTE: Category Icon Images need to be added from the Old Admin Menu Page as of July 30th 2024.
1. Navigate to the Web Ordering URL, Log In & Click on Jump To Admin
2. Left click on Switch To Old Admin and Open Link in New Tab or Window for easier access back to Old Admin after you make your menu adjustments.
3. From the Old Admin Click on the Menus Tab
NOTE: This may require you to login again. If prompted use the same login you used on the web ordering URL in step 1.
4. Click on the expand + icon to the left of the Menu you would like to add Category Icons.
5. Next to each Category, click on the Image Icon to upload icon images
6. Click Choose File and choose the Icon Image File and Click Upload.

Dimensions: 100X100
7. The Icon Image will appear for review. Next click on Return to Menu Editor to continue adding Icon Images to each Category. Repeat for all categories that are visible on web.
Displaying Category Icons on Web Ordering
1. Navigate back to the New Admin and on the left-hand side scroll down and navigate to Design and click on Web
2. Click on Menu Category Placement
3. Select On Side
4. Toggle on Display Category Images
5. Select Icon
6. Click on Save
Review Category Icons Updates
Navigate back to the Web Ordering URL and Start an Order
NOTE: If you don't see the changes immediately try viewing the website from an incognito browser.
Pro Tip! Depending on the quantity of Menus or category versionyou may need to do this for each menu or location to ensure that you have successfully added them for all locations.
