Banning a User On Admin

There may be times that the unfortunate circumstance occurs where you have to ban a customer from using Lunchbox. In order to achieve this follow the steps below.

Step 1: Navigate to Lunchbox Admin and switch to old admin.

Step 2: Click the Call Center link

Step 3: Search the customer via their email or phone number and click Edit.

Step 4: Add the following to the end of the customer's email address

Step 5: Be sure to leave the phone number as verified. This is crucial for ensuring that the customer cannot create and verify an account using the same phone number.

NOTE: It is important for the Chain Registration Settings to be set with enforce_unique_phone_number = TRUE

Blocked Guest Block Work Flow

Users on Android will be logged out of their app immediately. As long as enforce unique phone number is set to true the user will not be able to create an account.

Users on iOS and will be unable to proceed past the cart. As long as enforce unique phone number is set to true the user will not be able to create an account.

Users on Web will recieve a notification of Your session is expired. Please Login again. As long as enforce unique phone number is set to true the user will not be able to create an account.

Users looked up through Toast in store loyalty lookup will display the with the |deleted in the name. How you choose to manage these in store interactions is up to the restaurant partner.
