Description
This article is iterative and lists the most common reasons a payment gets declined and how to solve it.
Denied payments occur when you attempt to process the guest's credit card, and the processor denies the card. This can happen due to different causes
Insufficient funds
Invalid card number
Invalid expiry date
Invalid PIN
Debit blocks placed on the card
Suspected fraud (SIFT)
Worn-out chip or magstripe on the card - (in-store only)
NOTE:
Lunchbox is PCI compliant and tokenizes card information for the cardholder. Lunchbox is unable to re-process denied transactions.
Tips on Denied Payments:
Try another form of payment
Confirm that Lunchbox is not currently experiencing a service disruption with any processors

The orders will not go into the POS if the restaurant is in offline mode, but rest assured that the payment has been made. You won't see it until it's back up online
