Order Thresholds and Prep Time Estimates Feature
When dealing with larger orders, it can help to have the ability to adjust your guest's expectations when your kitchen receives a large order.
Using Order Thresholds and Prep Time Estimates
Step 1: To set Order Thresholds and Prep Time Estimates, start by logging into your Admin Dashboard panel and select the Locations option in the menu pane on the left side of the screen.
Step 2: Select the location that you want to edit from the Locations section.
NOTE: These settings are not group-specific and can be set individually for each restaurant location individually.
Prep Time Estimate: This number is measured in minutes. Enter the amount of time it takes your kitchen to prepare an average order.
Delivery Time Estimate: This number is measured in minutes. Enter the amount of time it takes for the food to travel to its intended destination.
Estimate Threshold / Increment: Enter a dollar amount for your threshold, then enter the number of minutes that you would like to increase your prep time by (i.e., in the screenshot above, every time an order placed increases by $100, the prep time will increase by 15 minutes).
โThis will scale infinitely for every $100 threshold, (e.g., according to the screenshot above, if you get an order for $200, the prep time will increase to 30 minutes. If you get an order for $300, the prep time will increase to 45 minutes).
