Overview
The small feature that enables us to upload a separate store marker for the app, independent of the app logo, which is used by default on the mobile app. Now, when a restaurant partner wants to set a different store marker for their mobile app, they can find it in the Admin dashboard. Store marker on the mobile app
Before attempting to upload the new store marker (icon), we need to ensure the dimensions are 28x28 px and the file is no larger than 2 MB. This new store marker icon will be visible only on the locations map in the mobile apps.
To set the store marker, we must be logged into the client's Admin dashboard and:
Step 1: Select Design> Mobile Apps from the left sidebar
Step 2: Find the Map Style option
Step 3: Drag and drop or upload the store marker icon
Step 4: Select the Save button to store the new icon
💡 After saving, ensure you open the mobile app (both iOS and Android) to see the changes. Setting up a new store marker doesn't require a new app build.
If an icon appears broken, doesn't appear, or still shows the old store marker icon, please create a ticket and report to the ENG team.
