Customer Lookup Overview
The Customer Ordering tab is pre-selected as the default Call Center Home Page. This is the tab you will use to place an order for a customer that calls in. From the Customer Ordering tab, you are able to look up customers to place orders, edit scheduled orders, retrieve past orders, and more.

Customer Lookup
After navigating to the Customer Ordering tab of the Call Center, it’s time to perform a Customer Lookup:
Step 1: See if the customer is already registered in the system. You can lookup the customer by entering any of the following information:
Phone Number
Email Address
Fax Number
First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Order ID
Step 2: Click Search:
Step 3: Registration…
If the customer is already registered:
The information will show below the search fields
Click Start Order next to their name to begin the order
Step 4: Phone Number Verification…
NOTE: Phone Verification should happen when a guest signs up for an account using the app or web login process and is achieved via a text message. Landlines are not currently supported and require manual verification.
If you need to manually verify a user for any reason this can be done by…
Clicking the Edit Button under the Actions column
and check off the verified checkbox below the phone number field. Click Save Changes Button and this will set the user to phone verified.
If the customer is not registered:
Click the Register button
Enter the customer’s information into the appropriate fields
Click Save Changes. This will automatically register the customer and take you to the Start Order Page.
Phone Number - Customer Phone Number
Verified? - Has their phone number been verified? This is required to place orders online.
Email - Customer Email Address
Verified? - Has their email been verified?
Fax - Typically used for businesses
First Name
Last Name
Company Name - Name of the Company this person works for.
Tax Exempt - This marks a user as tax exempt. These laws and regulations may vary state to state on what allows a user to be set with this status.
Tax Exempt ID
Tax Exempt Expiration
Tax Certificate
Upload Certificate - Upload file
Note: When you register a customer, they will receive an email requesting that they set a password for their account. This allows the customer to place future orders online.
Note: If you do not find an order under History for customer, it could be that the customer never fully checked out. The History button on the initial search result page doesn’t show incomplete or partially paid orders. If you don’t initially find an order for a customer, try clicking Start Order, and then Open Orders. If you see the order there and the button says Resume, you know it’s not fully checked out.
