Disclaimer: This article is for Lunchbox 2.0 customers only. If your dashboard header looks the same as below, you are in the right place:
Let’s set up in Brink the Destinations that will be available to guests through your online ordering site and apps with Lunchbox. This ensures that when an order is sent to your Brink POS, the correct Destination is labeled for the type of order being placed. For example; Pick Up & Delivery orders.
Note: These steps will have to be completed for every additional destination that is required by product type.
Step 1: Begin by navigating to the account-specific URL to access the Brink Dashboard then click the Configuration drop-down > Settings Editor on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 2: Select the Location at the top left of the Brink Dashboard:
Step 3: Next Click Destinations on the left-hand side of the screen, and add the necessary Lunchbox Destinations by selecting the Add New Destination button at the top.
Step 4: Next add the destination name in the name field…
Lunchbox Pick-Up (suggested name for 1st party Pick-Up)
Lunchbox Delivery (suggested name for 1st party Delivery)
Note - If the Destination will be used for DaaS or self-delivery, you will need to…
Check the ‘Delivery’ box under the Delivery Tab to allow the POS to receive the customer’s delivery address
Set the Delivery Time to 0.
If this is not done, orders will be rejected with an error of ‘Delivery details required’
Note: Include any additional destinations that are required based off of the product purchased. (Example: Lunchbox Catering Takeout, Lunchbox Catering Delivery, Grubhub, Ubereats etc)
Step 5: Other settings that can be applied include Kitchen Chit Header naming. We suggest setting these to auto-print with the dining option name in the Kitchen chit name.
Step 6: Add Receipt Printing. Check with the restaurant partner on how they would like this configured. We suggest setting this On Send to Kitchen and then choosing a receipt printer.
Step 7: Navigate back to Details and copy the Destination ID (an ID will be auto-generated when you create a new Destination). This Destination ID will be used when configuring Service Types for each location in the Lunchbox Admin Dashboard.
Step 8: Select the OK button when this is complete.
Step 9: Repeat the above process for each location being sent to Lunchbox
Step 10: Once completed, click Save at the top of the screen
