Introduction
Product Mix Dashboard visualizes various item KPIs and trends and allows users to narrow focus into top items, menu group performance, order times, and patrons. Restaurant Partners can drill down by location/brand, order type, platform, product, menu group, and menu item.

Orders

In-store orders for which patrons used a QR code to only accrue loyalty points (but not pay for the order) are excluded from reporting

In-store orders where patrons used the Scan-to-Pay feature (i.e., used a QR code to accrue loyalty points AND pay for the order) are included

Navigating to the Product Mix Dashboard

Once on the New Admin Dashboard, click on the “Analyze” tab in the navigation bar

In the menu bar on the left-hand side, click on “Dashboards”

Click on the “Product Mix Dashboard” option
Defining the Dashboard Parameters
Date Range
-
The dropdown menu can be used to select one of the following pre-defined date ranges: today, yesterday, this week, this month, this year, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 3 months, and last year

Alternatively, the date picker to the right of the dropdown menu can be used to set a custom date range

By default, the date range will be set to the last 30 days
Time Zone

In the time zone section, choose which time zone should be used to determine the order fulfillment date and time

By default, EST is selected
Packing Instructions

This toggle determines if items from the packing instructions menus (e.g., utensils) are included in the analyses below
-
Each item on the packing instructions menus is considered a separate item with a quantity of 1 and a price of $0

By default, items from packing instructions are excluded
Location (Single-Brand) or Areas (Marketplace)

In the Locations (single-brand) or Areas (marketplace) field, use the dropdown menu to select which location(s) or area(s) should be included; multiple options can be selected

Alternatively, you can also type in a location or area name directly in the field. As you type, the drop-down list will show locations or areas whose names most closely match the input. Once you see the location or area you want to pick, click on the name.

Understanding the Data
Items Sold Count Trend

At the top of the chart are the total count of items sold from the selected menu group(s) for the chosen date range (in teal) and the same date range a year ago (in grey)

The percentage label at the top of the chart shows the change in the total count of items sold from the selected menu group(s) between the chosen date range and the same date range a year ago

-
Below are line graphs that show the total count of items sold from the selected menu group(s) over the chosen date range (in teal) and the same date range a year ago (in grey)

When hovering over the line graph, the total item sold count figures at the top will be updated to show the daily total figures for a specific date during the chosen period (in teal) and the same date a year ago (in grey)

The percentage change label will also be updated to show the variance in the total count of items sold between the two days

Order Count Trend

The Top 10 Menu Items table shows the 10 menu items with the most units sold within the selected menu group(s)

The “Patron Type” dropdown can be used to filter for order count among new, returning, or all guests

The filter icon can be used to filter what is shown on the table based on menu item name or item sold count

To add a filter, click on the filter icon and then the “Add filter” button. To add multiple criteria, click on the “Add filter” button again.

The export button in the bottom right corner of the table downloads the current view of the data in a csv or pdf format with the following columns:

Order Count by Menu Groups is a whisker box plot that shows the minimum, lower quartile, median, upper quartile, and maximum when the counts of orders that contained items from the selected menu group(s) are compared across locations

Hovering over a bar will bring up a pop-up box that shows the maximum, upper quartile, median, lower quartile, and minimum figures order counts for each selected menu group among selected locations

The export button in the upper right-hand corner of the section will export the current view of the data in a csv format with the following columns:

The Guests by Menu Item Spend table shows the unit count and GMV of items that each guest purchased from the selected menu group(s)

By default, the data is sorted alphabetically in ascending order by the Patron Name field

You can click on the column header to sort the table by that field in ascending or descending order

The “Menu Items” field can be used to filter the data for specific menu item(s); multiple menu item(s) can be selected

The Sales Heatmap helps Restaurant Partners visualize which day of the week and time of the day they see the most sales of item(s) from selected menu group(s)

To the right of the heatmap is a scale that shows how different shades of teal correspond to the number of orders

Hovering over a specific grid on the heatmap will show the number of fulfilled orders that contained items from the selected menu group(s) during the chosen time of the day on the chosen day of the week

The “Download” button in the upper right-hand corner of the section will export the current view of the data in a csv format with the following columns:
